Broward County Commission Approves New District Map

After a five month public outreach process, the Broward County Commission approved a new Commission District map on December 13 and adopted the legal descriptions for the new District boundaries on February 14, 2012.

The new map balances the population within each of the nine Commission districts ensuring County residents are fairly represented on the County Commission. The new districts will be effective for the November 2012 general election. View the new map as a PDF file or KMZ file.

To open a "KMZ" file in Google Earth, download and save the file to your computer and double click the file. (Note: you must have Google Earth installed on your computer to open the files this way.)
